Hey guys! Just felt like making a quick poll. I personally enjoyed Fallout: New Vegas MUCH better than 3. It had iron sights, weapon modifications, tons of content, and overall nonstop fun. I've played New Vegas about 3 times now and I'm currently in the middle of my 4th playthrough. Although I enjoy New Vegas more, I do admit that Fallout 3 had a very nice atmosphere. Really made you feel like you were in the game yourself. But yeah, tell me what you guys think and feel free to leave a post backing up your opinion.

I played both, both amazing however Fallout 3 had more a dull and depressive environment unlike New Vegas, the New Vegas dlc's aren't as good as the Fallout 3 ones.

I prefer Fallout 3 to be perfectly honest. The atmospheric blandness that was New Vegas just made it this dull, and morbid journey. In Fallout 3 you can see monuments destroyed, and whole towns brought to shambles, only to find it inhabited by mutants and ghouls. Although the shooting mechanics were far worse in Fallout 3, I still found it to be a much more enjoyable game. Plus, I think the DLC in the game was far superior to ANY game I have ever played. If you have not played any of their DLC, I recommend "Operation: Anchorage." Well, that is my 2 cents.

Fallout 3: + You can play after beating the game + More weapon crafting + House upgrades + Better characters + Scarier atmosphere
Fallout: New Vegas: + Slightly better graphics + Casino games + Better atmosphere + More enemies + Better DLC + More quests (Fallout 3 has 100, Fallout New Vegas has 163) + More locations (Fallout 3 has around 200, Fallout New Vegas has around 400) + Hardcore Mode + Better combat

Fallout 3 is my favorite souly because I prefer the grimmer atmosphere it makes the game for me. Wandering the the wasteland of Washington D.C is depressing and unnerving compared to New Vega`s bright and happy color pallet. And Personally I enjoy 3`s soundtrack more mostly because I REALLY like Ink Spots xD

I have played both campaigns. I have enjoyed both of them almost equally. Though I found Fallout 3's story to be very in depth and gave me goose bumps at the end (Well before the DLC anyways!) Where as NV had strippers and animated boobs as well as one of my favorite missions of any game. You have to be a body guard outside a shop. So I prefered Fallout 3 for the Main Campaign and NV for the adventure and little things like the boobs... did I say there were boobs?

Fallout 3 had its moments, but in my opinion i felt extremely depressed while playing it due to its cold grey environment (A bit like rp_downtown_v4c) but where as Fallout: New Vegas, the environment was a nicer orange tinge to the environment (A bit like rp_downtown_v4c_v2).
How ever Dlc for New Vegas was not so good, although i can say mods make up for it.
