So, the way I judge a person isn't by their looks, feelings, attitude, or how big their heart is, and all that other silly unneeded shit. Oh no, I judge them by what kind of music they listen to. Me, I am a bit odd when it comes to music. I listen to two types of music, one being theatrical. The music you hear a lot in my videos is what would be known as theatrical. If you like loud choruses, orchestras, and epicness, you'll love theatrical music! Here are a a few great theatrical composers:
Immediate music: They consist of one of the most powerful choruses I have ever heard. If you have seen my Gmod video "Community Event," the day it was edited was the day I found Immediate music. With that being said, a majority of the musical scores in the video were Immediate music:
Two Steps From Hell: These are the people that originally kicked me off into theatrical music. They are the top of my list, and I recommend them to anyone who likes this kind of shit:
The second genre of music I like is power metal. Before you hiss at me saying it consists of loud, screamo, irritating shit, I can assure you that is not true. Power metal consists of cleaner lyrics, and no death metal screaming is involved. Now, there is yelling but, it is not the deep, gurgled yelling people "love" so much. Let me show you.
Blind Guardian: This German power metal band is what got me started with power metal, and are by far my favorite band in existence. They have choruses, and a theatrical/melodic tone to them. They have some fast songs, some slow. I like absolutely everything they do, give them a shot, for me?:
Hammerfall: This band doesn't really compare to Blind Guardian but, they do have a very nice sound to them. They are the second power metal band I got into. Not my favorite but, they are certainly bad-ass in my opinion:
Dream Evil: This is a band I have recently stumbled upon not too long ago. It is now ranked as one of my favorite bands of all time. They are very unique, and have a very specific tone to them. One of the things I like a lot about them, is that they are "comedic." What I mean by this is that they don't take things TOO seriously. Some songs are serious, others are kind of seen as a joke. Here is an example of their "comedic" tone:
Primal Fear: The last on my list, is the band I am currently listening to. Over my time of listening to power metal, my tastes have widened, and I am willing to try new things. With this being said, Primal Fear is far different than the other three I have listed. They are a much more hardcore band, and are not meant for people who didn't like this shit to begin with:
